30 Before 30: #14 – Go on a “Girls Only” Trip
Happy Holidays, everyone! I hope you have been enjoying your time off with loved ones. Time off has given me the opportunity to get caught up with overdue projects, which has finally allowed me a little time to update you on my travels in 2013, and the tasks I’ve accomplished on my 30 before 30 project!
30 Before 30 Challenge: #14 – Go on a “Girls Only” Trip
DISCLAIMER: Prepare yourself for picture overload!
Back in June, my two girlfriends and I traveled to beautiful island of Maui, which allowed me to cross off the “Go on a ‘Girls Only’ Trip” task on my 30 before 30 challenge. We saved up and found a decent flight. We were lucky that my parents rented out their condo to us there in Kihei, Maui.
We had nine days packed full of hiking, exploring, swimming, tanning, eating, and relaxing. Here are some of the highlights of our trip:
Hiking and Exploring:
Going Surfing:
Snorkeling and Seeing Sea Turtles:
Jumping from Cliffs and Waterfalls:
Going to a Luau:
Watching the Sunrise from Mount Haleakala:
Locking Our Keys in Our Car and Getting Locals to Help Break In (I was the clever one who managed to do this):
Eating and Drinking EVERYTHING:
I reminisce DAILY. My mind screams TAKE ME BACK! One of these days… SOON, I hope.
Have you ever been fortunate enough to travel to Hawaii?
