Happy Holidays, everyone! I hope you have been enjoying your time off with loved ones. Time off has given me the opportunity to get caught up with overdue projects, which has finally allowed me a little time to update you on my travels in 2013, and the tasks I’ve accomplished on my 30 before 30 project!
30 before 30 challenge: #14 – Go on a “Girls Only” Trip
DISCLAIMER: Prepare yourself for picture overload!
Back in June, my two girlfriends and I traveled to beautiful island of Maui, which allowed me to cross off the “Go on a ‘Girls Only’ Trip” task on my 30 before 30 challenge. We saved up and found a decent flight. We were lucky that my parents rented out their condo to us there in Kihei, Maui. (If you’re looking for a tropical escape, take a look at their condo. It’s paradise! They also have a convenient website HERE.)
We had nine days packed full of hiking, exploring, swimming, tanning, eating, and relaxing. Here are some of the highlights of our trip:
Hiking and Exploring:
Snorkeling and Seeing Sea Turtles:
Jumping from Cliffs and Waterfalls:
Going to a Luau:
Watching the Sunrise from Mount Haleakala:
Locking Our Keys in Our Car and Getting Locals to Help Break In (I was the clever one who managed to do this):
Eating and Drinking EVERYTHING:
I reminisce DAILY. My mind screams TAKE ME BACK! One of these days… SOON, I hope.
Have you ever been fortunate enough to travel to Hawaii?
